My remix of Julien-K’s ‘Dreamland‘ made it to the 11th place in their remix contest and I have won a nice book about studio accoustics. Unfortunately there is currently no way to listen to it. I’ll keep you posted if the remix becomes available.

Well, here is something for you. Tomorrow the ‘Finale’ of the W:O:A Metal Battle Switzerland 2010 will be held ni Monthey (Switzerland). Being a jury member I will have the honour to choose the winner who will be playing at the famous Wacken Open Air in Germany. The finalists are Arkhan, Hathors and November7. Each of these bands has already proven to bring a good show to the stage. So this will be a great evening with great bands at the club ‘Pont-Rouge’ in Monthey.

This is the 5th time this contest will be held in switzerland and also the 5th time with me as a member of the jury. The jury already decided which bands will be playing in the first round which will take place between the 5th and 7th of march. Those will be:

05.03.2010 Uster, Rock City
06.03.2010 Olten, Provisorium 8
06.03.2010 Worblaufen, Downstairs
07.03.2010 Solothurn, Kofmehl

Unfortunately I’ll not be present during this round since I will spend some time in berlin. But I will be at the semifinals and of course the final round. I believe those will be again some amazing events. So you better be there!
